Jonathan is our Director of Photography. Trained and resident at the BBC and Ealing Film Studios for thirteen years he has developed as a highly skilled film cameraman.

Due to the varied formats and types of programme input at the BBC, he has developed a truly unique and multi-faceted approach to shooting with a contemporary, innovative and exciting style. Jonathan has also worked on a number of award winning and BAFTA nominated films.
Over the past 18 years Jonathan has successfully undertaken an extremely wide spectrum of international projects from technical and scientific, sub-aqua to aerial, special effects and in-depth personal documentary to drama and commercials. He shoots regularly for all major UK television channels (see Principals Credits). Jonathan has also shot a $500,000 research project with P&G on the use of videotape for commercial production in USA and continues to develop this creative forum internationally with particular emphasis on specialist lighting. He regularly lights the “Digital Cinematography” stand at the IBC show for Sony and presents specialist lighting seminars globally.

Consultant to Sony Broadcast on development of filmic images on new High Definition F900 24P.cameras . Participated in seminars to promote the use of the new technology.
